Introduction Policy makers are reticent to try anything new.  Fortunately, someone, somewhere has usually tried some of the smart ideas around parking, usually to success. This section shares some of those successes so developers can show that what they are proposing is not a radical and untested concept. It also provides a list of Bay Area communities minimum parking requirements. 
    
Purpose
  1. To provide a clearing house of success stories related to planning for residential parking.
  2. To share best (and worst) elements of parking policies from Bay Area jurisdictions
  3. To give planners and developers benchmarks regarding various jurisdictions minimum parking requirements
