Toolbox Highlight: Voter Registration
Residents of affordable housing are particularly affected by many of the issues at stake in national and local elections. It is never too late or too early to make your voice heard and register to vote.

To assist NPH members with voter registration and get-out-the-vote (GOTV) efforts, NPH has put together a toolkit to equip service coordinators, resident organizers and property management staff to carry out registration efforts at their Bay Area developments. Tools included are:

  • How to run a successful voter registration campaign and timeline;

  • Permissible election activities checklist;

  • Keeping track of registered voters;

  • Registering affordable housing developments as polling places;

  • Voter registration and GOTV resources;

  • Voter registration and absentee applications.
